Real Chastity Belts Up For Bid On 'Auction Kings'

A man brought in what he thought were some cool old medieval helmets and the like. But when he propped one of them on his head, the woman behind the counter on "Auction Kings" (Thu., 9 p.m. ET on Discovery) quickly corrected his mistake.

What he had weren't helmets, but rather chastity belts. The owner was pretty sure they were from the medieval era, but a historical expert corrected him, saying instead they were likely from the late 19th or early 20th century.

They were certainly an odd item, and buyers weren't hurrying up to bid on them when they went up for auction. But finally, one man did manage to score them for $200.

"I think it would be an interesting conversation piece when company comes by the house," he said. "Who has a chastity belt??

See what goes up for sale next on "Auction Kings," Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Discovery.
