Ken Jeong's Parents Are Still in Therapy Over His Career Change (VIDEO)

These days Ken Jeong gets laughs as a comic actor, and occasionally by dancing, as he did Wednesday on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated), strutting his stuff to Maroon 5's 'Moves Like Jagger.' But that wasn't always the case: Jeong's original career path doctor. But he wanted to be in show business so badly that he started doing stand-up comedy and improv while completing his residency in internal medicine."And your parents were understandably devastated," said Kelly Ripa. "Yes," replied Jeong, "they are still in therapy getting over it right now. But now they get those thirty dollar checks every week, you know what I'm sayin', yo!"
Jeong used to include some medical material in his act, and said he surprised some on the 'Hangover' set with his knowledge, slipping out of character to give specific, detailed instructions to one of Ed Helms's sick friends over the phone. "Jaws dropped," said Jeong. But he went back into his goofy character voice, just to reassure everyone his focus was in the right place.

Noah Wyle Talks Saving the World & Becoming an Action Star on 'Falling Skies'

It's hard to look at Noah Wyle and not see Dr. Carter from 'ER' ... but 'Falling Skies' might finally change that.The new TNT drama (premieres Sun., June 19, 9PM ET) gives Wyle a hero's badge you can't earn in a hospital: He's helping save the world from an alien invasion. Add to that the fact that his wife was killed after the invastion and one of his three sons has been taken hostage by the visitors' spine-sucking mind-control devices that are basically a death sentence.
To say that Wyle's Tom Mason is having a rough time is an understatement.
I caught up with Wyle to talk about his career's new action star direction and why this alien invasion drama shouldn't get pegged with the sci-fi label too quickly. "I think it's TNT's attempt to try to have their cake and eat it, too -- to try and branch out and grab an audience that doesn't currently exist on their network, while still honoring the one that does by giving them what they tune in for, which is well written character pieces. I think there is something for everybody in here."

The Moroccan vacation is over and it's time for 'The Real Housewives of New York City' (Thu., 10PM ET on BRAVO) to return to normal life.If life for these ladies can ever be called "normal," that is ... This week LuAnn and Alex got into a fight in a restaurant about whether Alex was butting into LuAnn's affairs. Actually, it was more of a tense verbal sparring bout -- these two are far too socially conscious to start yelling or hair pulling in front of the hoi polloi.
The countess said she'd anticipated "a pleasant meeting where we could have a nice little cappuccino," to which an incredulous Alex replied, "That shows your own delusion." Touché!
Apparently, Alex had wrecked LuAnn's "lovely moment" with the ladies at home in Morocco by stomping in wearing her "Herman Munster shoes" and just simply ruining the mood. Listen dear, don't diss the shoes: "They're Louis Vuitton!" Gasp.
To which LuAnn counters: "Well, even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes." Me-ow.

Former 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy' star Carson Kressley is taking his fashion advice on the road for his new show, 'Carson Nation,' which premieres this month on OWN. He described the show Friday on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated), and also got props on his Twitter skills from guest host Kara DioGuardi, who said she personally hasn't figured out how to use the medium properly."I have a vintage Airstream and my own truck," Kressley said of the show, "and me and my assistant drive it across country, and we stop at all the towns that need our help, which is a lot." A clip from the show featured Kressley helping a woman with her "man jeans."
DioGuardi said she was glad that Kressley tweets, particularly a recent post in which Kressley included a photo of his "moobs," or man-boobs. "Oh, I know a guy who has those," DioGuardi said. "Simon Cowell."

Canucks? Raymond Suffers Vertebrae Fracture
Vancouver Canucks player Mason Raymond suffered a vertebrae compression fracture during the Boston Bruins' 5-2 win in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals. According to Canucks GM Mike Gillis, Raymond will miss 3-4 months of action.
Raymond was helped off the ice by his teammates but then left the arena on a stretcher. In 23 postseason games, Raymond has tallied two goals and six assists. Check out the video below to see how the injury occurred.

Sarah Ferguson on Hitting Rock Bottom and Her New OWN Show, 'Finding Sarah' (VIDEO)

When Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, was caught by a British tabloid last year trying to sell access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, she was sure she'd hit rock bottom.The natural inclination after such an embarrassing incident is usually to slink as far away from the public eye as possible, but not for Ferguson -- instead, she decided to document her redemption in a six-part documentary series on OWN (premieres Sun., June 12 at 9PM ET).
It pays to have famous friends -- Ferguson told AOL TV that it was Oprah herself who suggested she film a show for OWN. After the jump, watch Ferguson discuss 'Finding Sarah,' which follows the Duchess as she seeks the assistance of self-help gurus big and small, from Dr. Phil and Suze Orman to a shaman and a horse whisperer.

Ami James Gets Into Shoving Match With One of His Artists on Premiere of 'NY Ink' (VIDEO)

The 'Ink' franchise got a new entry with the premiere of 'NY Ink' (Thu., 10PM ET on TLC). The new series follows Ami James from 'Miami Ink' as he sets up shop back in his roots at the Big Apple. But it's a big venture and a big investment for James, so he needs things to go smoothly.With all that stress, it's no wonder that tattoo artist Chris Torres kept getting on his nerves. For one thing, Torres has an entitled attitude that would annoy everyone. When he misplaced his keys, he asked fellow artist Megan Massacre if she was hiding them, adding, "You better not be."
When he went to talk to James about it, the latter was still sore that Torres had taken his tattoo machine earlier without asking. So he simply walked away from Torres, telling him it was his problem. But Torres doesn't like people walking away from him, as he said in no uncertain terms.
