This week, Mack Trucks CEO Denny Slagle found himself particularly moved by Allan, an employee who keeps a positive outlook on life, while struggling to help his two grandchildren.Both children have a genetic disorder that, according to their grandfather, is killing them. Treatments are expensive and not all of it is covered by insurance.
At the final meeting, when Slagle revealed himself to the employees he'd met, and tells them what's really been going on, he had a special surprise for Allan.

'Glee' Breaks Elvis Presley Billboard Record, Michael Vick Cancels On 'Oprah' and More

Elvis Presley has been dethroned by the cast of 'Glee.'With 113 hit tunes to Presley's 108, the the hit Fox show now officially has the most singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
According to Billboard, the six new tunes on Thursday's chart bring the 'Glee' gang above the King, as well as other musical luminaries like James Brown, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and The Beatles. The first 'Glee' entry on the chart came less than two years ago when 'Don't Stop Believin'' landed at number 4 in June 2009.
The only modern acts to come close to 'Glee''s record are Lil Wayne and Jay-Z, who have 67 and 62 entries, respectively.
In other TV news ...
o. Michael Vick pulled out of his upcoming 'Oprah' appearance for "personal reasons." The episode was scheduled to air next Thurs., Feb. 24, and the show has not yet found a replacement. [Entertainment Weekly]
o. Seth MacFarlane will be the roast master during Comedy Central's upcoming Donald Trump roast. The show is scheduled to tape March 9. He's got some experience in the field, having hosted the David Hasselhoff roast last year. [Deadline]

Did CBS Reporter Serene Branson Have a Stroke On-Air?

A video of CBS journalist Serene Branson flubbing her words while reporting on last night's Grammy results has gone viral -- but not for the reason you might think.The 17-second clip shows Branson completely unable to pronounce any of the words she's trying to say as she slurs her way through the incomprehensible report. The Telegraph reports that Branson was hospitalized out of concern she might've suffered a stroke on-air, while the New York Daily News reports that she was examined by EMTs and sent home.
UPDATE: CBS 2 posted a statement about Branson's condition, saying "Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning."
According to Branson's biography on the CBS Los Angeles site, the Los Angeles native is a two-time Emmy nominee. Watch the video after the jump.

Matthew Perry has a new show called 'Mr. Sunshine' (premieres Wed., Feb. 9, 9:30PM ET on ABC), but is it destined to fail before it even premieres?It took about eight years after 'Seinfeld' ended for star Julia Louis-Dreyfus to land another hit series ('The New Adventures of Old Christine') and for people to stop referencing the unbreakable 'Seinfeld' curse.
But it takes more than one ensemble cast success story to prove a curse wrong ...
Now seven years after 'Friends' said goodbye -- with his former TV wife Courteney Cox thriving in primetime yet again with 'Cougar Town' -- will Matthew Perry's new show 'Mr. Sunshine' be the one to end suspicions of a similarly unlucky post-'Friends' streak?
Sure Jennifer Aniston makes a lot of movies, David Schwimmer has moved behind the camera, Lisa Kudrow's single season of 'The Comeback' has become a cult favorite, and Matt LeBlanc has made headlines lately for playing himself (sort of) on Showtime's 'Episodes,' but the success of a long-term TV show is a lightning that often seems to strike only once.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 7'The Chicago Code' (9PM, FOX) series premiere
Cops and corruption are two themes that producer Shawn Ryan is very familiar with. That's because he took those subjects and merged them into fan and critical favorite 'The Shield,' which ran from 2002 to 2008 on FX. For his newest production, 'The Chicago Code,' Ryan throws the two subjects together in the middle of the Chicago Police Department. Starring Jennifer Beals as the city's first police superintendent, the series initially focuses on the creation of a task force to go against a powerful and corrupt alderman. The team includes a veteran cop, a number of newbies and an Irish street thug who blends in with the local crime community.
