"Two and a Half Men" fans may have to say goodbye to Jake Harper.
Actor and Evangelical Christian Angus T. Jones' religious testimony, in which he called the CBS show "filth" and urged viewers to stop watching, left fans wondering whether or not the 19 year old would return for another season of "Two and a Half Men."
Jones, who has played Jake since the show premiered in 2003, will "likely" leave "Two and a Half Men" after the current season, according to E! News. He plans to finish out Season 10 and then make an exit. "He won't be in every episode," a source told E! News of Jones. "How much they use him will be up to [creator] Chuck Lorre. The intention wasn't ever for him to be in every ep this year anyway. Now it might be less."
CBS has yet to pick up "Two and a Half Men" for an eleventh season, but if the network does, it's "unlikely" Jones will return as a series regular. E! surmises he will "likely" choose to go to college instead. "Part of the reason Angus is so wary of the [TV] industry and so involved with the church is that he's seen what's happened to Charlie [Sheen] front and center," the source told E! News. "He doesn't want to end up like that. Who would?"
Jones is confirmed to stay through Season 10 of "Two and a Half Men," People magazine confirmed. "Angus expects to report to work after the holiday break in January," a source told People. "He intends to honor his contract through the end of the season."
Jones' reps and attorney are said to be in talks with Warner Bros. about the actor's controversial statements and his standing with CBS, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jones' publicist tells THR that "conversations are ongoing about his future role on the show."
The teen actor, who makes $350,000 per episode, expressed problems with participating in "Two and a Half Men" since it clashes with his religious beliefs on another occasion.
While speaking to the congregation at Los Angeles' Voice of Prophecy Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Oct. 8, Jones said, "It's very weird being on a television show, especially now that I am trying to walk with God because my television show has nothing to do with God and doesn't want anything to do with God."
If Jones does exit the show, he follows closely in the footsteps of Sheen -- whose erratic behavior and disparaging comments about producer Chuck Lorre got him fired in March 2011.
Jones issued an apology for his remarks on Tuesday.
"Two and a Half Men" airs on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. EST on CBS.

Days after sparking controversy with a series of tweets about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Kim Kardashian is now planning to head to Kuwait and Bahrain, something Iranian-born "Shahs of Sunset" star Reza Farahan thinks is a great idea.
?Kim has a nice peace. I don't know if she can bring it, but I hope so. We need some peace in the Middle East,? Farahan told The Huffington Post. ?I would say 70 percent of my family are still in the Middle East. You know, honestly, it breaks my heart when civilians are affected because of governments, you know. It's really devastating because most of the people that live in the Middle Eastern countries just want the things we have here. They just want to live life. And it's devastating to see all the casualties and fatalities.
"If I were in the Middle East I would be running sh*t," he added. "I would get rid of all these religious fanatics, there would be a gay pride parade going down the boulevard in all the major cities -- [there] would be kissing and hugging, not fighting. I can't wait to go to Israel with Kim. If she's in, I'm going.?
The 38-year-old openly gay reality star says he's looking forward to the second season debut of "Shahs of Sunset," on Dec. 2 at 10 p.m. on Bravo. He promises it will be full of tears, laughter and friendships -- some of which are torn apart, and some of which grow stronger.
?I don't necessary consider myself the star of the show because we are a group, but people tell me they really love me and that feels great,? Farahan said. ?And the haters are my motivators. The fact that there are people that are compelled to tweet such hateful things makes me really sad for them. They clearly have nothing going on in their lives. I don't respond to the Twitter haters. My skin is a little thicker than that. I have dealt with some real issues in my life.?

Elmo Puppeteer Kevin Clash's resignation amid a sex scandal sent shockwaves through "Sesame Street." But the Muppets are no strangers to scandal and controversy.
In the early days, the Cookie Monster smoked a pipe, according to a 2009 NPR interview. At least one famous song, the infectiously catchy "Mahna Mahna," originally appeared in "Sweden: Heaven Or Hell," a racy 1968 film that NBC News referred to as porn.
From there, the Muppets have been accused of promoting a Communist agenda by Fox Business Network host Eric Bolling; promoting an excessive interest in Katy Perry's breasts; and early indoctrination of homosexuality by the close relationship of Bert and Ernie.
In fact, one group actually made a petition demanding the duo get married.
GALLERY: MUPPET SCANDALS (Story continues below)
Last year, the "Sesame Street" YouTube account was hacked by someone who loaded it with porn . More recently, Mitt Romney singled out Big Bird during the first Presidential debate.
Just a few weeks ago, "Sesame Street" producers sent cease-and-desist letters to costume manufacturers that made "sexy" versions of Big Bird.
Finally, there are some Muppet scandals that keep surfacing when you least expect, such as the Bert Is Evil website, which posits that the Muppet was behind every major scandal of the 20th century, including the JFK assassination and the 9/11 attacks.
No word on whether Bert will be blamed for the Kevin Clash scandal.

"Law and Order: SVU" (Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC) has tapped Scott Bakula for a case filled with twists and turns. In HuffPost TV's exclusive preview above, Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Rollins (Kelli Giddish) question Bakula's character Kent Webster, a high-powered legal expert, about a woman who claims to have had his child.
The smooth operator has answers for all the questions, but not everything is as it seems. Jessica Hecht and Bijou Phillips also guest star in "Vanity's Bonfire" and Tamara Tunie returns as M.E. Warner.
Here's how NBC describes "Vanity's Bonfire":
A BABY KIDNAPPED FROM A PLAYGROUND LEADS TO A TWISTED CASE OF LIES, BETRAYAL, AND INFIDELITY. The abduction of a baby from a city playground quickly turns into a custody dispute when the kidnapper (guest star Bijou Phillips) swears she is the child's biological mother. She also claims the father is a high-powered legal expert (guest star Scott Bakula), sending Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Amaro (Danny Pino) on an investigation that forever changes the lives of two unsuspecting families. Also starring Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Dann Florek (Captain Donald Cragen) and Kelli Giddish (Detective Amanda Rollins.) Also guest starring Tamara Tunie and Jessica Hecht.

Well, that didn't last long.
Kat Von D has announced that she and DJ Deadmau5 have called it quits after dating for about two months. The tattoo artist took to Twitter today (Nov. 10) to share the news, saying, "Man, Can't say I didn't give it my best."
"Man, I sure was wrong," she added. "But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. Lesson Learned."
Von D, 30, and Deadmau5 (real name Joel Zimmerman), 31, met at a party and confirmed their relationship in mid-September. The "L.A. Ink" star was previously engaged to Sandra Bullock's ex Jesse James, but finally called off their on-again off-again relationship last fall.
"Now, we can get all of the 'I told you so's' outta the way ... And move on," Von D continued on Twitter, finally adding, "Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together."
So what does Deadmau5 think of their break up?
"Going to spend a little while screwing my head back on. i guess im not cut out for relationships right now," he wrote on his Facebook page. "And that's all i really wan't to dwell on it right now. ill figure it out. no hard feelings."
"It happened too fast, i lost my balance and fell into a familiar dark place that im having difficulty with," the DJ added on Twitter, "she deserves someone stronger."

As if being a reality show champion wasn't enough, Australia's "Big Brother" winner Benjamin Norris surprised his longtime boyfriend by popping the question.
In true old fashioned tradition, the 32-year-old Norris got down on one knee and proposed to his boyfriend, also named Ben, with an heirloom ring.
?This was a diamond that my great grandfather bought for my great grandmother and it was worn by my parents on their wedding day so it's something that is a part of my family,? Norris gushed. ?Since I've met Ben all I have wanted is for him to be a part of my family."
Norris, an accounts manager from Victoria, is the first openly gay winner of the show.

Note: Do not read on if you have not seen Season 8, Episode 6 of The CW's "Supernatural," entitled "Southern Comfort."
No one does honesty like the Winchester brothers. Whereas most of us would try to be up-front about our resentment for our family members in a constructive and healthy way, or repress said feelings until we keeled over from a stress-induced heart attack, Sam and Dean subscribe to the "Supernatural" method of conflict resolution -- namely, ignoring their emotions until a haunted penny, siren saliva or truth spell forces them to vocalize their anger in the most violent way possible. Ah, progress.
While it's a little depressing that it still takes a paranormal intervention for Sam and Dean to have an honest conversation with each other, both brothers said things that desperately needed to be said in "Southern Comfort."
Dean was still (understandably) reeling from Sam's decision not to look for him in Purgatory, while Sam was feeling (understandably) frustrated that Dean has yet to accept his numerous apologies for not looking -- and for keeping Benny a secret in "Blood Brother."
And, like all "Supernatural" macguffins designed to release the brothers' innermost thoughts and insecurities, Dean definitely didn't hold back while possessed by the specter; not only did he trot out the greatest hits of Sam's past indiscretions (demon blood, Ruby, his year with Samuel and his lack of soul) he also declared that Benny has been more of a brother to him in the past year than Sam has ever been. Which, obviously, is a load of baloney. In no way do I believe that Dean hates Sam or Castiel (who Dean has previously dubbed family), or even that he truly values Benny over those existing relationships. I saw Dean's behavior while possessed as the equivalent of a pissed off teenager declaring that they hate their parents when their folks are just trying to protect them.
Dean has enough insecurities to fill the Grand Canyon and then some -- it's well-documented that he believes himself worthless, that he thinks Sam and John never needed him the way he needed them, and that Sam has spent years itching to abandon the hunt (and thus, Dean) and return to the normal life that Dean robbed him of when he grabbed Sam from Stanford.
Whether Sam actually thinks any of these things is beside the point; those insecurities are part of Dean's genetic make-up, and I honestly don't know if anything will ever be enough to reassure him otherwise at this point.
While I haven't always sympathized with Sam's decisions or his treatment of Dean (mostly while he was under the influence of demon blood, but also back in Seasons 1 and 2 when he still saw a way out of the family business and back to law school) I still believe that he's proven his love and dedication for his brother many times over.
I think that Dean isn't in the right place, emotionally, to believe that Sam's reluctance to hunt doesn't actually have any bearing on his love for Dean. Hunting has always been so intrinsically tied to Dean's understanding of the world, to how he defines himself as a person, that I get why he sees Sam's rejection of the family business as a rejection of Dean himself, but I don't believe that Sam thinks that way. Both brothers currently want different things for themselves, but that's healthy.
As Jeremy Carver has said in numerous interviews relating to this season, this year is supposed to deal with helping the brothers mature and grow up, to become independent characters with separate motivations, while still being secure in their relationship. I think "Southern Comfort" was the first step towards that noble goal. Obviously, Sam is never going to give up hunting for good, because that would mean the end of the show, so clearly something is going to shift his perspective this season and give him the same sense of purpose as Dean gained in Purgatory, but I also don't see a problem with him having a taste of normalcy and allowing himself to find love again, however briefly.
Yes, it's unfortunate that the show doesn't have a juicier excuse for Sam not looking for Dean than "I met a girl," but if that's the story they're sticking to, then at this point, I'm ready to roll with it. Overall, I thought Sam handled himself well in "Southern Comfort," admitting that he's made mistakes and has obviously hurt Dean, but also that he's not prepared to continue apologizing for something he's already said he's sorry for.
Dean is absolutely entitled to that sense of betrayal, but as Garth wisely pointed out, you can't change the past, you can only try to avoid making the same mistakes in the future, and holding on to all of those old resentments is only going to cause both Dean and Sam grief.
That being said, it's clear that there are still more conversations that need to be had between the brothers, because Sam threatening to kill Benny just because he's pissed at Dean for keeping him a secret (and probably for killing Amy) isn't particularly forgiving either. Obviously, Sam hasn't spent a year in the foxhole with Benny so has no reason to trust him yet, but hopefully Benny will have the opportunity to prove his loyalty to Sam the way he did for Dean in Purgatory.
I was intrigued by Dean's declaration that Castiel had let him down too -- I'm wondering if that relates to Castiel's deal with Crowley or something that went down in Purgatory, since we know that Dean's still not sure exactly what Castiel's fate was, but that "something happened to him down there." It seems like Dean's still harboring a lot of guilt in regards to leaving Cas there, especially if the promo for next week's episode is any indication, so I'm not sure if it was a case of the specter magnifying past hurts or dragging up something more recent. Mostly, I just can't wait for next week's episode.
I've been waiting for an episode featuring Garth where the character didn't irritate the hell out of me, and I was glad that "Southern Comfort" finally provided it. I've always known that DJ Qualls was a talented actor, but his last two episodes (through no fault of his own) ranged from the mediocre ("Party On, Garth") to the downright heinous ("Season 7, Time For A Wedding" which I'm still trying to pretend never happened).
Considering Adam Glass wrote both "Party On" and this week's episode -- and since I'm so protective of Bobby as a character -- I was concerned I might not like "Southern Comfort," but here, Garth was just the right mix of earnest, cocky and hilarious. Despite his failed attempts to get Sam and Dean to open up to him about their issues, he still managed to impart some much needed wisdom, and his amiable nature seemed especially valuable when dealing with Dean's brusqueness.
There's no replacing Bobby, of course, but it's realistic to think that the hunting community would need someone to step up and fill that void somehow, and I found Garth's attempts to emulate the old hunter as sweet as Dean's infuriated protectiveness. Mostly I'm just glad that Jeremy Carver is continuing to repopulate the world with other interesting supporting players, since one of my biggest criticisms of Seasons 6 and 7 was how claustrophobic the show had become.
There were some things I didn't love about the episode: while it was an interesting concept, I found the flashback into the penny's past completely unnecessary, and it played too much like the show thought we weren't able to follow that it was the penny doing the possessing, even if that wasn't their intention. The show can also be a little heavy-handed when it draws parallels between the boys' relationship and their current case, and while some episodes are more nuanced, "Southern Comfort" skewed towards the anvilicious when it was revealed that two brothers were on opposite sides of the war, and one brother was still carrying out the possessions. Still, these are minor niggles that didn't actually impact my enjoyment of the episode, and though I missed the Purgatory flashbacks, it was good to learn more about Amelia and why she's so guarded. Interesting that her husband's name also began with D.
Overall, it was a strong hour, and I was glad that Sam and Dean finally started airing some of their dirty laundry, even if they have many miles to go before they're back on solid ground. Hopefully this conflict will leave them stronger and more supportive than ever, which can only be a good thing for them as characters and for the show as a whole.
"Supernatural" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
