'Extreme Couponing' Masters Face-Off
Some of TLC's most ferocious savers from "Extreme Couponing" will be put to the test in "Extreme Couponing All-Stars," a new reality competition series debuting Tues., Dec. 27 at 10 p.m. EST.
In the new seven-part series, 12 "Extreme Couponing" veterans go head-to-head. Each episode will feature two couponers as they race around a store trying to get $500 worth of items in 30 minutes. The catch? Nothing can be full price. The couponers will donate their entire haul to a local food bank and the winner will be determined by whoever has the highest percentage of savings.
"Saving money can be like a sport these days -- taking careful planning and unwavering commitment. The cast of 'Extreme Couponing' are very serious about being the best shoppers, and this will be a fun way to see who has what it takes to save the most," Amy Winter, GM of TLC, said in a statement.
In this exclusive sneak peek, Michelle, described as a "buck-hunting super-saver," takes on Chris. The two have very different shopping methods: Michelle plays quick and dirty and Chris plans meticulously. It's sort of like "Super Market Sweep" on crack.

Can Julianne Moore play a convincing Sarah Palin? You betcha!
The Oscar-nominee plays the former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential nominee in the upcoming HBO film "Game Change," which chronicles the 2008 election with a special focus on the campaign of Republican John McCain. The film, based on the book "Game Change" written by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, will see Ed Harris play the Arizona Senator and GOP candidate McCain. Woody Harrelson plays adviser Steve Schmidt.
Moore recently told ABC News that while researching for the role, she became disgusted with how modern day political campaigns are run.
"So much is about how do you get on the air, how do you get the most media attention, how do you make the most noise. When, in fact, what we're all looking for is leadership," she said. "We don't want noise. We want people who are going to take care of us."
As for Palin herself, she's also less than enthused by the production.
"I think I'll just grit my teeth and bear whatever comes what may with that movie," she told Fox News.

Will Pasquale's Macho Posturing Win Over Kori On 'Love Games'?
As "bad girl" Kori says, the tension has been building between the guys in the house on "Love Games" (Mon., 10PM ET on Oxygen).
Last night Jordan's mere presence in the room caused Pasquale's temper to reach boiling point, and the pair then indulged in some trash-talking and mutual goading until the inevitable shoving match broke out.
Before Pasquale finally got physical with him, Jordan pointed out that the "Love Games" rules are slanted in favor of the girls on the show -- while the guys get tossed for fighting in the house, the girls don't. "You're lucky that I'm not a girl, that I could fight with you right now and still stay in the house."
So, did Pasquale's macho posturing win him any points with Kori? "Pasquale's an idiot," she said. "I'm trying to keep him on my team, but every time something comes out of his mouth, he pisses everyone off."

'90210' Star Talks 'I Wish I Was Gay' Single
When "90210" star Jessica Lowndes released the single "I Wish I Was Gay" on iTunes last month, it stirred up some controversy for the 23-year-old actress.
Some fans didn't understand the song's title and were concerned about what exactly the song was meant to convey. Lowndes, who prides herself on having total creative control over her music, told The Huffington Post that she simply can't pay attention to the negative responses.
"I can't react to any of it," said Lowndes, who was attending the launch of Duracell's Holiday Insurance program last week. "If I read all of the bad comments on posts about '90210,' I would go crazy. Obviously, people are going to have opinions about the song, but I love making music and I can't let it affect me."
While she realizes the song's title is controversial, Lowndes says she really doesn't care.
"I wrote the song when I was going through a bad breakup, and I think it is something all girls can relate to," she said. "When they've gone through a bad breakup, they want to throw up their hands and say, 'I wish I didn't have to deal with this anymore.' We all say we wish we were a little gay."
The "90210" star financed the music project herself and isn't working with a label. She says she wants to start touring in small clubs in New York and she is even eyeing a future on Broadway. Another new single and a new music video, both based on her own concept, will be released in early 2012.
But for now, Lowndes is concentrating on all the drama surrounding her "90210" character, Adrianna Tate-Duncan -- drama she says is only going to get crazier.
"Something from Adrianna's past comes back to haunt her, and there are a lot of twists and turns coming up," Lowndes promised. "Really crazy!"

WATCH: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler Join Fallon, Meyers On SNL Weekend Update
In an episode that was chock-full of cameos by former cast mates, SNL's "Weekend Update" featured one of the biggest thrills of the night, a head-to-head joke-off pitting former co-anchors Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon against Amy Poehler and (current host) Seth Meyers.
After reporting on a toy drive by a local strip club, Meyers quipped that patrons could "give a toy to Charity, and Charity will give it to the manager." But not a moment after, Fallon rolled up to the desk, chiding Meyers for his lackluster performance in the face of such a meaty story. Challenges to a joke off were then made and accepted, and before you knew it, "Update" alums Tina Fey and Amy Poehler had joined the fray.
A dozen or so one-liners later, and television magic had been made.

NBC Plans Betty White 90th Birthday Bash
TV viewers have scored an invitation to Betty White's birthday bash. NBC has announced that a Betty White double feature will air Jan. 16. The 90-minute birthday special entitled "Betty White's 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America's Golden Girl" will celebrate the beloved comedienne's legacy, and will be immediately followed by a sneak peek of White's new hidden camera prank show "Betty White's Off Their Rockers." The festivities will begin at 8 p.m. and end at 10, two hours before White's actual birthday on Jan. 17.
White's co-stars from "Hot In Cleveland" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" will be attending the dinner party-style event to help her celebrate the milestone. Several of NBC's current leading ladies of comedy will also reportedly be in attendance.
In a December interview with AOL TV, White said all she wanted for her birthday was, "Just to keep things going as they're going now. It's one of the highest spots of my life."
White's golden years have indeed ushered in a new golden era of her career. The premiere of "Off Their Rockers," in which White and a mischievous gang of senior citizens will pull pranks on younger people, will give her two series on prime time TV. "Hot in Cleveland," White's TV Land sitcom, is in the midst of its third season. "Hot in Cleveland" is also planning a birthday episode for White's character Elka.
A mere one month after her birthday spectacular, White is slated to go head-to-head with Tina Fey at the Grammy Awards in the Best Spoken Word Album category. Each funny-lady is nominated for the audio-book version of their memoir: Fey for "Bossypants" and White for "If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won't)."
It's all sure to prove that there's no such thing as too much Betty White.

'The Amazing Race': A Perfect Finish, But Who Won? (VIDEO)

The final three teams took off from Panama headed back to the United States for the final leg of this edition of 'The Amazing Race' (Sun., 8PM ET On CBS). When the final destination city was revealed to be Atlanta, all three remaining teams immediately knew this would give an edge to Marcus and Amani because that's their hometown. Was it enough for the married couple to win?!!SPOILER ALERT!!
Unlike some past seasons, it looked like one pivotal moment dropped one team behind, eliminating any chance of a close finish. At the flight simulator, it was Marcus and Amani who struggled to land the plane and essentially cost themselves a shot at winning.

Fallout from 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon''s Michele Bachmann intro music controversy continues.According to EW, The Roots, the in-house band on 'Late Night,' must now get their song choices approved by NBC. The band's frontman Questlove said he understands the need for the new process.
"It's still a comedy show, so they promise not to step on my toes or that type of thing, but they definitely want to know the title of the song, the subject matter of the song, can it be seen as an insult?" he said.

When they rejected him, he realized he only had to turn one and then that person would do the work for him.

Ed Asner Reprising Original 'Hawaii Five-0' Role, 'Glee' Casting Rachel's Dads and More Casting News

Ed Asner will reprise the 'Hawaii Five-0' role he first played more than 30 years ago.According to CBS, the 'Mary Tyler Moore Show' veteran will once again play August March in an early 2012 episode. Asner first played the role in the 1975 episode of the original 'Hawaii Five-0' titled 'Wooden Model of a Rat.'
"It is thrilling to, for the first time, merge the original 'Hawaii Five-0' and our new show by having the classic, versatile and award-winning actor Ed Asner reprise his role of August March, a character Mr. Asner first played 36 years ago. There is no better way to form a bridge between our reboot and the original series," Peter Lenkov, 'Hawaii Five-0' executive producer, said in a statement.
For the first time, footage from the original series featuring Asner will be used. The archive footage will show his character in his smuggler days. When Asner's character appears in the new series, he'll be a reformed man after serving 30 years in prison for murder. The Five-0 team approach him for help on a smuggling case.

Kristen Johnston stopped by 'The Wendy Williams Show' to talk about her new TV Land sitcom 'The Exes,' but before she could get to that, Wendy wanted to know all the details of her airplane scuffle with the Octomom, otherwise known Nadya Suleman, that made tabloid headlines in July.Johnston had the bad luck to be on a flight with Suleman and her eight screaming children that was delayed on the tarmac for two hours. "It wasn't like children screaming and crying, it was like, they were just unhappy and loud," Johnston described. Johnston admitted to marching to the back of the plane to talk to the Octomom, who she found reading a magazine. Johnston told her to "get better control of your kids or get better help."

ABC Daytime President Brian Frons Exiting Network

Brian Frons is leaving his post as president of ABC Daytime.Frons will be replaced by Vicki Dummer, currently the senior vice president of current series and specials.
Frons, who became a reviled figure to many viewers after canceling 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live,' will exit when his contract ends in January. His departure comes as ABC restructures under the new division Times Square Studios. Times Square will handle all daytime and syndicated productions.
"While my decision to try something new was not arrived at easily, nine years is a long time in television terms," Frons said in a statement. "I'm proud of the performance of ABC Daytime over that time, and of all of the accomplishments that our team achieved along the way. I'm especially pleased by the early results for 'The Chew' and excited for the launch of 'The Revolution,' which will be one more positive step in transforming ABC Daytime for our viewers. I'll miss my colleagues and the wonderful talent that makes our shows, but know they are in very capable hands with Vicki going forward."

Maya Rudolph's been trying to tell people for months that her 'Up All Night' character Ava, who just so happens to be a flight talk show host, isn't a re-imagining of her famous 'SNL' Oprah impression. But Friday on 'Live!' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC), at the behest of guest-host Neil Patrick Harris, Rudolph and Kelly Ripa broke out their dueling Oprah impersonations for an 'Oprah-Off.'Rudolph started off the competition by announcing a fake audience giveaway that would make Snooki proud. "Today, we're giving away ... pickles!!" she exclaimed, as the audience cheered wildly. Ripa followed up with, "You get a pickle, and you get a pickle and you get a pickle," and got some feedback from Rudolph on her impression.
